Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What hours do you work?
I work Monday to Saturday 9.30 until 5pm ….. I do not work on a Sunday or in the evenings.

Q. How do I contact you?
You can text or ring me on 07540194204 … If I’m unable to answer, I may be with a client. Please leave a message with your name and number and I will get back to you as soon as I can. You can also contact me via Facebook Whatsapp or email me on kerrylm199@gmail.com

Q. Where do you work?
I work in Southchurch, Southend-on-Sea at my home address ….. The room I use for treatments is private, quiet, clean and comfortable.

Q. Do you do mobile appointments?
No, I don’t operate a mobile practice.

Q. What is Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage?
Lomi Lomi is a beautifully flowing, relaxing and nurturing massage …. for more information visit the Lomi Lomi page of my website or feel free to ring me for any further information.

Q. I’ve never had a massage before. Can you give me an idea of what to expect?
All appointments start with a brief consultation, we can discuss what will happen during the massage, what you are hoping to gain from the treatment, and you can ask any questions. I will leave the room to allow you to change and get onto the massage couch. It is easier to perform massage without underwear, particularly Lomi Lomi, or if you require work on the gluteal muscles. However, if you feel more comfortable leaving it on this is entirely up to you. Towels are used for draping and there is absolutely no need for you to be exposed or feel uncomfortable at all.  If required, I can use additional draping to cover a woman’s breasts during massage to the front of the body. Once the massage is over I will leave the room to allow you to dress again.

Q. I am taking medication, can I still have a  massage?
It’s more likely to be a condition rather than a medication that would prevent you from having a massage, however some medications such as warfarin could mean you bruise more easily so please, if in doubt, get in touch with your doctor and check.

Q. Do you massage men?
I believe that we all benefit from touch through massage regardless of gender, and so Yes, I do massage men.
